Intruder alarms residents

Three girls on Kings Drive were frightened when a white male, assumed to be about 18 years old, attempted to enter their home on March 12. Instead of calling police they called their mother in New York.

She in turn called the New York Police Department, who contacted the Fairfield officers. By then the girls had gone to a friend’s house to be safe.

The suspect was long gone by the time police arrived. Police were unable to find anyone in the area matching the description provided by the girls.

The suspect reportedly rang the front doorbell. When the girls tried to see who was outside, a wreath was blocking their view. Shortly thereafter one of them spotted the suspect attempting to come in through a sliding glass door. Upon being spotted, he ran.
