Fairfield man joins New York accounting firm

FScampbellErik S. Campbell has joined Marcum, a national accounting and advisory firm, as a director of business development. He is based in the firm’s New York City headquarters.

Campbell brings to Marcum more than 15 years of business development experience in the professional services market. He has assisted clients in a broad range of industries, including colleges/universities, hospitals and other nonprofits, as well as manufacturing, oil and gas, insurance, utilities, financial institutions and foreign owned banks. Previously, he was a Business development manager at a professional services firm that provides risk advisory, tax and finance and accounting services.

“Erik Campbell has a strong track record of significant business growth, including building new markets from the ground up,” said David Bukzin, partner-in-charge of the firm’s New York assurance services division and of its national SEC and transaction services practice groups. “He is a welcome addition to our business development team in New York, where he will support a number of our Firm’s business lines.”

“Erik will use his expertise to help develop business across all of Marcum’s service offerings,” said Robert S. Derbabian, senior director of business development.

Campbell holds an undergraduate degree in English from Hartwick College. He lives in Fairfield with his wife and children.
