Connecticut Audubon Camp programs include eight weeks of camp sessions, offered mornings and afternoons from June through August for campers ages 4-14. Every session features an age-appropriate theme designed to foster each child’s knowledge, curiosity and awareness of the natural world.

Campers participate in activities such as daily nature walks in the sanctuary, up close interaction with the Center’s education animals and investigation into various nature themed topics. Through outdoor adventure and hands-on nature activities campers will have the opportunity to study fresh water ecology, learn about wildlife biology, entomology, conservation, and more.

Camps are led by teacher-naturalist and college-educated staff and counselors; junior volunteers provide additional support. Staff is trained in First Aid, CPR, and Epi-Pen.
