Fairfield declares snow crisis over

Fairfield has passed the crisis point of Storm Nemo and has now resumed its regular winter operations, according to what officials said will be the last alert message associated with the blizzard.

“While the Town is not 100% back to normal, CodeRED alerts will no longer be issued at this time and hopefully not anytime soon,” according to the message.

Officials reminded anyone who will be driving on Fairfield roads early Wednesday, Feb. 13, that students may be walking to school or waiting for school buses.
