Pedestrian hit by car early Sunday

A pedestrian was injured when struck by a car at the intersection of Longfellow and Castle avenues Sunday, Jan. 27, around 1:30 a.m.

The gender and identity of the pedestrian have not been released by police.

The pedestrian was thrown through the window of the vehicle according to Doing It Local, citing scanner reports.

The vehicle was heading north on Longfellow Avenue.

The crash remains under investigation, according to reports.
