Prep ready for Hillhouse

The third-ranked Fairfield Prep basketball team defeated Hamden High, 69-34, in the first game of a doubleheader at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport on Friday night.
St. Joseph of Trumbull defeated Harding of Bridgeport, 77-51, in the nightcap.
Prep is now 9-0 on the season and will play host to top-ranked Hillhouse of New Haven at Alumni Hall on Tuesday.
Ryan Murphy scored 19 points to lead a balanced Jesuit attack, as Thomas Nolan scored 13 points, David Zielinski 12 and Paschal Chukwa 10.
Prep opened the week with a 73-57 victory over Career High of New Haven.
Tim Batula scored 23 points, Murphy 16, Nolan 12, Chukwa 12 and Keith Pettway nine, as Career dropped to 4-3.
