Interfaith service Sunday, Aug. 26

In the wake of the recent shooting at the Sikh temple in Wisconsin, members of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Bridgeport are conducting an interfaith service Sunday, Aug. 26 in their new location at 275 Huntington Road, Stratford, to express sympathy and solidarity with the Connecticut Sikh community.

UUCGB member Nandini Pandya will invoke the Indian tradition of rakhi which honors and celebrates the bond between between brothers and sisters.

Persons of all faiths are invited join UUCGB in the spirit of brotherhood.

The service will begin at 10 a.m.
