Supporters of The Jewish Home gathered to celebrate the achievements of Greenwich resident Joel C. Coleman and Easton resident Dr. Stewart Gross, at the Women’s Auxiliary 2012 Fall Gala at the Hilton Stamford Hotel on October 25. The event was co-chaired by Fairfield residents Linda Lazinger and Ilene Young.

Bill Sims, chairperson of The Jewish Home, paid tribute to Coleman for being a leader and dedicated member of the community and presented him with the Arthur and Gladys Lunin Humanitarian Award. Cheryl Shulman presented the Louis Lotstein Award for Distinguished Service to Gross for his 15-plus years of volunteer work with The Jewish Home’s Men’s Club.

“For decades, Joel and Stewart have given their support to the Residents of The Jewish Home,” said Andrew H. Banoff, president and chief executive officer. “Presenting these significant awards gives everyone the opportunity to thank them publicly.”

The Board of Directors of the Women’s Auxiliary will be allocating more than $100,000 raised at this event to support many important programs for the residents of The Jewish Home.
