Patrons sort through the books during a past book sale at Pequot Library.

Pequot Library’s annual three-day mid-winter book sale is scheduled for Jan. 19 through 21, and will feature live acoustic music. All sale proceeds benefit Pequot Library and admission is free.
The hours are as follows: Saturday, Jan 19, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sunday, Jan 20, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Monday, Jan. 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All pricing is as marked and the sale is held in the library auditorium.
In addition to the fiction category, which is the highlight of the sale, there will be hundreds of hand-picked LP records, vintage paperbacks, a selection of matted prints, audio books and videos, children’s books and videos, biography, history and more. Prices range from $1 to $5.
There will be more than 15,000 books to choose from, with 60% being hardcover; 100% of the books are donated by patrons throughout the year.
