Take a trip to the Wild West with Science Tellers

Fairfield Public Library hosts Science Tellers — Wild West: The Mystery of the Golden Piano Wednesday, July 11, at 6 p.m., in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Geared for children in grades K-5. Registration is required.

A legendary bank robbing outlaw is back in town, the sheriff is missing and two kids must foil the bad guy, but not before stopping a runaway train, escaping an abandoned mine shaft and discovering a mysterious piano. Throughout this wild adventure story, volunteers from the audience will help explore the science behind chemical reactions, combustion, air pressure, inertia and more.
