Congregation Beth El Fairfield held its 38th annual Sukkot Interfaith Luncheon Oct. 4, raising more than $2,000 for Operation Hope.

Sisters Lynne and Valerie Constantine spoke about their book, Circle Dance, a fictional story about a multigenerational family that overcomes betrayal and tragedy as a result of their strong family ties, tradition and faith. The authors are also donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of their book at the luncheon.

During the luncheon, Congregation Beth El’s kitchen and dining room were staffed by students from Fairfield Warde High School’s Barlow Restaurant program. Without the assistance of these high school students, many of the coordinators would not have been able to enjoy the luncheon.
