Second and Third Place category winners were Darius Daniel and Taylor Jenson, respectively, both juniors at Platt Technical High School, Milford, who won for their posters, also illustrating distracted driving themes. Darius and Taylor both received plaques and $200 and $100 checks, respectively.

More than 500 students in Fairfield, New Haven, and Litchfield Counties participated in the contest, which AAA Northeast conducts annually to generate a greater awareness of safe traffic practices among elementary and high school students.
