Fairfield student to be honored for volunteer service

Max Rosenberg, 14, of Fairfield, a freshman at Loomis Chaffee School, will be presented with an engraved bronze medallion to recognize his selection as a Distinguished Finalist for Connecticut in the 2018 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards.

An award presentation will be held on Thursday, May 17, at 2 p.m., at Loomis Chaffee School, 4 Batchelder Road, Windsor.

Max has been dedicated the past four years to raising money and awareness in support of the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, efforts that have ranged from raising $42,000 to marching on Capitol Hill. For more information on Max’s volunteering, click here.
