Friends of the Fairfield Public Library hold Spring Book Sale

The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library will hold a three-day Spring Book Sale featuring a large selection of fiction and nonfiction books, children’s books, and DVDs. The Friends sale will fill the Rotary Room on the second floor of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road, with bargains for book lovers. The sale takes place on Friday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m; Saturday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m; and Sunday, April 22, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. This will be a cash only sale. All proceeds will benefit programs at the Library.

In existence since 2003, The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the partnership between the Fairfield Public Library and the community, and advocating for quality library service for all of the people of the town of Fairfield. Over the past fourteen years, The Friends have provided over $300,000 to the Library to support special programs, services and resources not included in the operating budget, including the Library’s museum pass program and the Soundwaves Concert Series. The Friends also manage the Bruce S. Kershner Art Gallery.
