Woofgang & Co. invites dog lovers and their four-footed friends to “shop with the shamrocks” on Saturday, March 17, from 2-4 p.m. at its store in downtown Fairfield, 1300 Post Road. Join the nonprofit — along with Irish step dancers, and a very special Irish wolfhound named Murphy — for St. Patrick’s Day refreshments, entertainment and festive family fun.

Woofgang & Co. is a “business with a mission.” Its shop is the retail arm of a new nonprofit business providing employment opportunities for young adults with disabilities in the Fairfield area.

Woofgang & Co. was founded by a group of Fairfield parents and others concerned about adults with disabilities and the limited vocational training and employment opportunities available to them post-high school and post-age 21.
