Fairfield University Bookstore hosts Women As Changemakers Day

The Fairfield University Bookstore, 1499 Post Road will host “Women As Changemakers Day” on Saturday, March 24, from 1-4 p.m., with Patricia Caso, co-editor of 20 Women Changemakers: Taking Action Around the World.

Caso will give remarks at 2 p.m. of the often unheralded women making an impact, who are featured in this book. She will talk about their inspired ideas and how they made them happen.

This event is free and open to the public.

This event coincides with National Women’s History Month, underscoring that many role models making history are women, here and now, who step up to make a difference. Veteran broadcast journalists/author Pam Burke and Patricia Case find something any one of us can relate to in each of the women’s stories, no matter how high the stakes may seem to be. A must read for anyone interested in women’s issues, social change, and social justice.
