First Presbyterian hosts Gilbert and Sullivan concert

Connecticut Gilbert and Sullivan Society

The American Chamber Orchestra presents its Winter Concert on Saturday, March 3 at the First Presbyterian Church, 2475 Easton Turnpike in Fairfield at 7:30 PM. Members of the Connecticut Gilbert and Sullivan Society will be guest artists in a program of excerpts from four Gilbert and Sullivan operettas. Music Directors Christopher Hisey and John Dreslin will be conducting.

The Connecticut Gilbert and Sullivan Society, based in Middletown has been performing annual productions of Gilbert and Sullivan since 1980. Excerpts from The Mikado, Yeoman of the Guard, Pirates of Penzance and Iolanthe will be on the program. John Dreslin is their Music Director. This is their first performance with the American Chamber Orchestra.
