Mini Masters: Art @ The Unquowa School

Mini Masters: Art @ The Unquowa School, a collaboration between the Fairfield Public Library and the Unquowa School, is a window into the world of art history for children ages 3-5. This workshop introduces children to famous artists. Each week Unquowa preschool teachers will share a new artist through literature, dialogue, hands-on projects and sometimes even culinary treats.

Registration is limited and is for all four sessions. Caregivers are required to remain in the classroom during the program, and siblings cannot be accommodated.

The program meets on Wednesday afternoons in January at 1:30 p.m., at the Unqouwa School, 981 Stratfield Road in Fairfield.

Dates and artists:

  • January 10 – Alexander Calder
  • January 17 – Jackson Pollock
  • January 24 – Pablo Picasso
  • January 31 – Vincent Van Gogh

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. For more information about this and other programs, visit fairfieldpubliclibrary.org, or call 203-256-3160.
