Fairfield Continuing Ed offers Eating for the Right Reasons course

Registration is now available for Eating for the Right Reasons, Fairfield Continuing Education course number HEA321. The course will be led by Alice Katz on four Tuesdays, March 6-27, from 6:30-8:30 pm., at Roger Ludlowe Middle School in Fairfield. Fee is $59.

This course is for those who want to undo bad habits and be motivated to choose healthy foods over empty calories, and deal with stress without food. Included are lectures, charts, questionnaires, information, and discussion. Topics include Eating for Health, Feelings Without Food, Recognizing Hunger and Fullness, Establishing Good Eating Routines, and Deprivation and Pleasure.

Alice Katz is a psychotherapist in Fairfield. Since 1979, she has counseled individuals and groups on healthy eating and on anger management privately, in classes, and on national radio and television. She is the author of Conquering Compulsive Eating and Eating Without Guilt, as well as a book on anger management. She knows a great deal about nutrition and practices everything she teaches, so she is slim, healthy, energetic, and happy.
