RTM District 10 Republican candidates host food drive

Republican candidates for RTM District 10 will host a food drive to benefit Operation Hope’s food pantry on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 8:30 a.m.-noon, in front of Southport Galleries on Pequot Avenue in Southport (rain or shine).

Stop by to make a donation of nonperishable food items or grocery store gift cards that will help individuals and families in Fairfield who are in need.

The RTM District 10 Republican team includes Sam Cargill, Michael Herley, Frank Petise and Eric Sundman.

“With Thanksgiving just around the corner, it’s terrific to see our District 10 RTM Republican candidates out in the community collecting donations to benefit Operation Hope here in Fairfield,” said State Senator Tony Hwang. “People sometimes forget that there are families who struggle to put food on the table right here in Fairfield. It is clear that our RTM Republican candidates in District 10 understand the importance of putting community first. Thank you Eric, Frank, Michael and Sam for leading by example.”

“Please be sure to do what you can to help,” said Sam Cargill. “No donation is too small.  All are welcome!”
