Building Your Business as an Artist

The Fairfield Public Library presents artist Liz Tardif in a talk about Building Your Business as an Artist on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m., in the Memorial Room, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

Attendees will learn how to apply basic business concepts to build success in connecting to collectors and buyers. Time will be allowed for attending artists to share what they have done personally to achieve progress in selling their work.

Liz Tardif started a new series of Art Talks at the Library last fall. She is an art consultant and the founder of Cherry Street Art, a unique resource connecting local, national and international artists with collectors. She has served as a curator for the Bruce S. Kershner Gallery at the Library and is a lifelong artist, working primarily with acrylic and oil mediums.

Tardif will co-host two other Art Talks this fall, The Importance of Art in Our Society on Tuesday, Oct. 24 and The Art of Buying Art on Tuesday, Nov. 28.

All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free. To register, or for more information on these and other programs, visit fairfieldpubliclibrary.org, or call 203-256-3160. Follow the Fairfield Public Library on Twitter @fairfieldpublib and Facebook @fairfieldlibrary.
