Vandals cause $75,000 worth of damage at The Paterson Club

Vandals inflicted $75,000 worth of damage on The Paterson Club, 1118 Cross Highway, Monday night, Aug. 6.

Police were called to the club at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, when workers discovered that the eighth, ninth and 14th greens on the golf course had been damaged by somone driving golf carts. Tire marks were found on every green on the golf course.

Five golf cats had been driven into a pond.

The damage was not present when workers left at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6.

Beer cans were found at the course, Sgt. Suzanne Lussier said.
