Books being bused to Osborn Hill

Osborn Hill School’s Library Media Center has been closed and the elementary students have been without books. The Fairfield Public Library felt a strong need to resolve this problem, and in partnership with the Fairfield Public Schools will deliver books to Osborn Hill School monthly with an old-fashioned bookmobile that has been lovingly dubbed BOB — Books on Bus.

All students, Kindergarten through fifth grade, will be able to check out books at Osborn Hill once a month beginning Tuesday, Nov. 27.

BOB will be visiting the school the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday  from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The bus will be supplied with over 750 books that were hand-picked by professional children’s librarians.
