The Science of Sound Multimedia Musical Performance

Fairfield Public Library presents Caryn Lin and her electric violin with the multimedia presentation: The Science of Sound on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at 7 p.m., in the Roger Ludlowe Middle School Auditorium, 689 Unquowa Road.

Lin literally transforms sound into a visual representation through the use of her five-string electric violin and modern technology. She will take the audience on a journey from the classical days of Bach to today’s techno-wonders. Explore STEAM concepts as sound waves become visible, bringing music to life before the audience’s very eyes.

Open to all school-age children and their families. Registration is required.
