Relay For Life of Fairfield this weekend

Cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and community members will unite at the Relay For Life of Fairfield in an effort to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer.

Relay For Life of Fairfield will take place on Saturday, June 10, from 3 p.m.-midnight, at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, 785 Unquowa Road. Events include a Survivor Reception at 3 p.m., Opening Ceremony at 6 p.m., Survivor Lap at 6 p.m., and Luminaria Ceremony at 9 p.m.

Funds raised help the American Cancer Society provide free information and support for people facing the disease today, and fund cancer research that will help protect future generations. During Relay For Life events, members of each team take turns walking or running around the track or path. Teams participate in fundraising in the months leading up to the event.
