LETTER: Kiley puts Fairfield first

To The Editor:

I have known Kevin Kiley since the mid-2000’s, when our kids started school together at Jennings Elementary.

Since I have known Kevin, he has been a public servant to our town. He is always kind, thoughtful with his opinions, and generous with his time. We have agreed on most issues, most of the time. If there have been cases where we have disagreed, he has always been respectful of a difference in opinion.

Kevin holds our education system in the highest regard, and understands its value, not only to our students, but to our society and to the future of our town. He understands the need to keep Fairfield affordable for our seniors, and is willing to take a thoughtful approach to the balancing act of providing services without placing undue tax burden on our citizens. He is fiscally responsible.

He has a professional background that provides him with expertise on financial and human resources matters. He has experience on the RTM, the Board of Finance, and the Board of Selectmen…He carries with him a history of our town, he “gets” us. He rolls up his sleeves and gets the job done. He is cooperative. He knows that it means to put Fairfield first…not the interest of a small group of people who want to cut taxes without regard to consequence….Kevin puts the good of Fairfield first, above all else.

On June 6th, I am urging you to support Kevin Kiley for Board of Selectmen.

Because he will put Fairfield first.
