Maddy Canning (New Canaan) ripped a bases-loaded, three-run double in the fifth inning to give the Greens Farms Academy softball team enough cushion to pull out a thrilling 13-12 win over Convent of the Sacred Heart.

The win moved GFA to 2-0 on the season after going winless for three varsity seasons.
