CT Audubon Society offers Junior Gardeners Club

The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street will hold a Junior Gardeners Club for children in grades 3 and 4 Wednesdays, March 29-June 7 (no class April 12), from 3:45-5 p.m.

The club will be planting seeds and watching them grow, building a brand new garden, and learning how to plant and care for the soil. It’s also a chance to meet and learn about the animals at the center who will be eating the fruits (and veggies) of the club’s labor. Garden-themed games and craft activities will round out the after-school fun of the Junior Gardeners Club.

Space is limited and advance registration is required.

Program fees per child are CAS members: 10-week series $135, single class $15; nonmembers: $171, single class $19. Sign up online at ctaudubon.org/center-at-fairfield, or call 203-259-6305, ext. 109.
