Connecticut Made author to visit Fairfield Public Library

Cynthia Parzych, author of Connecticut Made: Homegrown Products by Local Craftsmen, Artisans and Purveyors, will be talking about her book at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road on Thursday, March 30, at 7 p.m., in the Rotary Room.

This book is a guide for day-tripping in Connecticut. Hundreds of the state’s top cottage industries — places that you can shop and/or tour — are showcased. The author will discuss the places she visited whose specialties include pottery, clothing, furniture, glassware, home décor, jewelry, games, wine, cheese, beer and much more.

Parzych lives in Glastonbury, CT and is a writer, book publisher and professional chef.

Books will be available for purchase and signing after the talk. Advance registration is required due to the limited space. All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are free of charge.
