Great Futures Benefit Auction supports Wakeman Boys & Girls Club

Wakeman Boys & Girls Club will host their 16th annual Great Futures Benefit Auction presented by EMCOR on Saturday, March 11, from 6:30-11 p.m., at the Warehouse at the Fairfield Theatre Company, 70 Sanford Street, Fairfield. As the Club’s largest fund-raising event, the Benefit Auction raises funds for Wakeman’s two Clubhouses in Fairfield and Bridgeport as well as its Outreach Program at McKinley School, a new after school Lighthouse site at Claytor Academy in Bridgeport and more than 150 youth programs.

The event includes beverages and food catered by On The Marc Events, silent auction items that range from golf outings and jewelry to vacations and parties, live music by Fairfield band, FloodZone. Also, attendees will hear from some of the youth who are supported by the many programs at Wakeman Boys & Girls Club.

Event sponsors include: Presenting Sponsor, EMCOR Group Inc., Gold Sponsor, People’s United Bank, Bronze Sponsor, Turner Construction, and Media Sponsor, TownVibe. Christine Cutler, event co-chair said, “I would like to thank our many supporters of this event. We are happy to say we have many community donors, guests and generous sponsors. Our entire event committee understands that the Great Futures Benefit Auction would not happen without their help and great support of Wakeman Boys & Girls Club.”

Tickets are $175/person (Bronze Level), $250/person (Silver Level), and $500/person (Gold Level). Purchase tickets by Feb. 24 for a special rate of $150/person.
