One Book One Town programs

Fairfield Public Library is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the One Book One Town initiative in 2017. Patrons may learn about how it all got started and get behind the scenes secrets and stories on Wednesday, March 1, at 7 p.m., in the Main Library’s Rotary Room, 1080 Old Post Road.

Join the One Book One Town Social Media Fun. Look out for #iamreading white boards in the community.  Write down the book you are currently reading, snap a selfie and post the image to social media with #obot2017#iamreading “title by author.” Tag the Library so we can see what you are reading. Book Shelfie Week is Feb. 12-18. Take a picture of your favorite bookshelf and post it to social media with #obot2017#bookshelfie.

Finally, Get Caught Reading Week Contest is Feb. 19-25. Pose with a book or get caught reading and post it to social media with #obot2017#getcaughtreading. You may also send submissions to [email protected]
