The Fairfield Happiness Club will hold a meeting on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 7-8:45 p.m., at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Tina Garrity will present a talk on Taking Responsibility for Your Own Happiness.

We all can find happiness from many different things. Realizing that happiness comes from within and that it is our own responsibility to find it, is a priority in life. Tina will discuss why she believes this to be true and how she found it in her own life.

Garrity is the facilitator of the Madison Happiness Club for the past 10 years. She and her husband Kevin raised five daughters. As a former teacher she loves working with children/young adults and is currently involved in volunteer activities in her community as well as other communities in the state. She is the chair of the Madison Alcohol, Drug, Education coalition (M.A.D.E.), co-chairs an Art From the Heart team under the non-profit organization Circle of Care which provides decorative bedroom make-overs for children undergoing chemotherapy and also serves on the boards of the New Haven Community Foundation’s Fund for Women & Girls and The Children’s Center of Hamden.

Everyone is welcome; admission is free. Learn to have the peace of mind you need and experience happiness now.
