Obituary: Anthony D. Etrio, 96, of Fairfield

Anthony D. Etrio, 96, of Fairfield, husband of the late Patricia J. Etrio, died Dec. 31.

Born in Bridgeport, on Dec. 6, 1920, to the late Dominic and Carmela Etrio; U.S. Army veteran of World War II; employed by Harvey Hubbell Company for 13 years as a tool setter, and later by Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, where he worked for 35 years.

Survived by a d daughter, Debra Etrio Kopczynski of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and his only grandson, Anthony Kopczynski, son-in-law, James Kopczynski, sister-in-law, Josephine (Pina) Etrio, brother-in-law, Gary Rudis, niece, Teresa Garnett, nephew, Jon Etrio, and several great nieces and nephew, Belinda Wutke, Bianca Garnett, Holly Garnett, Jon Etrio Jr. and Nicole Etrio, and cousin, Dolores Garofalo.

Also predeceased by son, Tony Jr., sisters, Mary Dorazio and Rosemary Rudis, and brother, John Etrio.

Services: Friday, Jan. 6, 11 a.m., Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield. Calling hours: Friday, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
