snow-shovelingThe Snow Shoveling for Seniors and People with Disabilities program of the Bigelow Center for Senior Activities in Fairfield has begun.

The program connects seniors and people with disabilities in Fairfield with students who are willing to provide snow shoveling services.

Once registration is completed, a list of available helpers is mailed out to area residents. Those enrolled in the program are responsible for contacting the volunteer/helper from the list provided and for making financial or scheduling arrangements.

The volunteer is responsible for completing the task or notifying the resident if they are unable to complete the work. Click here to download registration forms or stop by the senior center office to pick one up.
