Fairfield schools reopen Wednesday

All Fairfield public and parochial schools will resume classes Wednesday, Nov. 7, for the first time since Hurricane Sandy.

“DPW, UI and AT & T have made major progress opening roads,” according to a Code RED message. “Please continue to use caution and please stay away from downed power lines.”

Power was restored to all schools in time for their use as polling places on Election Day, which had been scheduled as a day off for students.
