Nonprofit Sustainability, a small business strategies program

The buzzword in the nonprofit world is sustainability. Some think it’s an obstacle funders use to disqualify funding. In fact, it’s the best thing to happen to the nonprofit world. Program presenter Kristen Tierney will show that by understanding both sides of the paradigm, non-profits and funders have the opportunity to better serve their communities and their individual mission. We will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at noon in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Registration is requested.

Kristen Tierney heads The Tierney Development Group, helping small businesses and nonprofits create sustainable funding.

This program is part of the Small Business Strategies series for current and prospective entrepreneurs. More information on these programs and podcast recordings of previous presentations are available online at fairfieldpubliclibrary.org.
