LETTER: Dru Georgiadis cares about Fairfield

To the Editor:

Letter-to-the-EditorNEWDru Georgiadis has my enthusiastic support as Representative for the 132nd district.

I’ve known Dru since 2001 when we first met as young mothers at the Patterson Club.  I recall the ease with which she corralled and kept up with her 4 young boys and was impressed that she still had the desire and energy to actively participate in several club committees and serve on its Board of Directors.

As our children entered the school system, Dru became a presence and a strong voice at PTA meetings and assumed the responsibility of co-chairing the membership committee at Tomlinson Middle School, recruiting members and raising significant funds for the PTA.  In both settings, Dru quickly became known as the go-to person for getting things done.  Not only did she contribute her time and ideas, she had solutions to problems and the commitment to follow through.

Dru truly cares about Fairfield — our schools, kids, neighbors, and citizens — and will work tirelessly and effectively on their behalf.  She has been a leader and persistent advocate in every effort she’s undertaken, be it the schools, neighborhood, or town.

Dru is respected, sought after, and trusted; she is a “Fairfielder” first and foremost.  I truly believe she will make a great Representative and put the well-being of the community above all else.  I am fortunate to call Dru my friend and would be proud to have her representing and working for Fairfield—and Connecticut!
