Electricity continues to be restored to Fairfield residents without power since Hurricane Sandy struck last Monday.

Crews continue to work to restring power lines ripped apart by Sandy’s winds and toppling trees. Sunday morning, UI reported that 21.39% of Fairfield, 4,679 homes and businesses, were still without power, with UI’s projection of 95% restoration by midnight Monday on the horizon.

Fairfield Police posted a Facebook message at facebook.com/FPDCT asking residents to reply with a street name if there is no power there.
