CT Audubon Society Center at Fairfield hosts Birds of Prey Day

The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, Fairfield, will hold Birds of Prey Day on Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Attendees will get to see resident birds up close and learn about their characteristic features, impressive adaptations and behaviors. Uncover the truth behind the myths, find out the conservation issues that affect them and what each of us can do to help them. The event includes a guided trail walk in the Larsen Sanctuary and snacks.

All ages are welcome, but children must be able to sit during the live birds of prey presentation. No strollers please.

The cost is $5 for CAS members; $8 for non-members.
