Kiwanis Club holds successful Leadership Week Picnic

In conjunction with the Wakeman Boys and Girls Club “Leadership Week” program, the Fairfield Kiwanis Club recently hosted a Picnic and Cornhole Competition for middle school students.

During the event, Kiwanis President Tom Maniscalco encouraged students to join the high school branch of Kiwanis, known as the “Key Club”, as a means of “Serving the Children of the World and Building a Better Community” while presenting the goals and accomplishments of Kiwanis. All participants had a great time – this festive atmosphere was reinforced by many members of the community and everyone enjoyed the food, fun and camaraderie.

On behalf of the Kiwanis Club of Fairfield, club president, Thomas Maniscalco would like to thank all those who participated in this great event.

For more information about joining Kiwanis contact Tom Maniscalco at 203-257-6167.  The Kiwanis Club always welcomes new members.
