Mad Science: Mission Nutrition at the Fairfield Public Library

Mad Science visits the Fairfield Public Library to talk about nutrition Tuesday, Aug. 9, at 4 p.m., in the Rotary Room. This workshop, for kids entering grades 3-5, teaches the essential elements of a well-rounded diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Students will conduct experiments that show them the important features of various food groups, how an active lifestyle helps to prevent certain diseases and how bile helps with the digestion of food.

Registration is required.
