Hwang committed to community, not politics

To the Editor:

Tony Hwang is running for re-election as state representative for the 134th District, representing Fairfield and Trumbull.

Tony is that rare politician who deserves everyone’s support regardless of political affiliations and should be re-elected on the merits of his legislative and community record.

Tony is a family man with a wonderful partner in his wife Grace and his children, Christina and Peter. The family is involved in the community and Tony’s assistance in many charitable organizations and constant commitment to his community is a testament to his character and values.

As a Libertarian Party member since the 1970’s, I believe that you treat everyone like you want to be treated. You do not force a person or allow anyone to force you to do something you do not want to do. We all benefit by freely entering into relationships.

Tony’s common sense approach values the “proper role” of government while recognizing that our less fortunate and vulnerable individuals have a safety net. Tony believes in the American dream and knows you must work hard to achieve great results. Tony is that rare individual who is always willing to listen to every point of view and if he does not agree with the point of view, he will always be civil and respectful. He is willing to speak with everyone and he considers all points of view before he makes a decision which he believes is in all of our best interest.

I happily recommend that Tony Hwang is re-elected to represent Fairfield and Trumbull and continue making a positive difference on behalf of our community.
