Community Spotlight: CT Challenge Center for Survivorship

In support from the BTCC – Bigelow Tea Community Challenge, the CT Challenge Center for Survivorship recently received a visit from Cindi Bigelow and $4,000 donation to help fund the Center’s efforts.

CT Challenge Center for Survivorship (CTC) is a nonprofit organization has programs dedicated to helping 14.5 million cancer survivors in Connecticut and throughout the U.S. rebuild, improve and prolong lives through exercise, nutrition and community-building support programs.

The CT Challenge Bike Ride, the primary funding vehicle for the paradigm-shifting programs advanced by CT Challenge, will take place on July 29.

“Helping each other,” says Cindi Bigelow, “is what makes our community so special.  We are especially supportive of the CT Challenge because of its focus on health and wellness, and because of the enormous positive impact is has touching so many lives. I will be riding in the Bike Ride again this year with ‘Bethie’s Buddies’. It’s a way to show support for a great cause and, for me, a way to honor the memory of a very dear friend.”
