Fairfield Police say this man left CVS on Black Rock Turnpike Friday, June 24, with a large amount of drugs in a backpack after threatening violence.

A robber threatening violence robbed a large amount of prescription pills from the CVS at 1968 Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield Friday, June 24.

Fairfield Police released surveillance photos showing the man entering the store around 1:30 Friday afternoon.

While the suspect threatened violence, police said no weapon was displayed and no on was injured.

Police believe the man fled on foot with a large amount of prescription pills.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s or early 30s. While mostly clean-shaven, he may have facial hair only under his chin. The suspect was last seen wearing black pants and a long-sleeved black shirt, carrying a black backpack and wearing black glasses with blue reflective lenses, as well as a beige baseball cap with a round logo on the front.

Anyone with information on this individual’s identity is asked to contact the Fairfield Police Department Detective Bureau at (203) 254-4840. All calls may remain anonymous police said.
