Summer reading kick off June 20

Avoid the Summer Slide!

Fairfield Police help get the word out on the Fairfield Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, On Your Mark, Get Set…READ.

According to the Fairfield Public Library, summer reading programs keep students engaged in reading and learning activities that help them maintain the knowledge they acquired during the school year. Students not participating in a summer reading program are at greater risk to “slide” back on their school year gains.
