Substations to be shut down to prevent failure

Gov. Dannel Malloy says two Bridgeport substations will be shut down to prevent "catastrophic failure." They may be able to reopen in the morning. 
According to reports, 52,000 will lose power — 35,000 in Bridgeport and the rest in Shelton, Stratford, Trumbull and Fairfield.
