Fairfield Happiness Club meets May 19

The next presentation of the Fairfield Happiness Club, “Create your own Positive Pathways and learn practical tools for living well,” by Kathleen Gallagher, founder of Positive Pathways, LLC, will be held on Thursday, May 19, from 7-8-45 p.m., at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

Gallagher integrates positive psychology, yoga and meditation to help her clients to live a more vibrant and satisfying life. She has an extensive background in corporate human resources and holds her bachelor degree in behavioral studies from Manhattanville College. Gallagher is in the process of completing her certification in applied positive psychology (capp) program with The Flourishing Center, a New York City based Benefit Corporation (BCorp).

The CAPP program was developed by Emiliya Zhivotovskaya who studied with Dr. Martin Seligman, the founder of Positive Psychology, at the University of Pennsylvania. It is designed around the PERMA-V model of human flourishing, with an added emphasis on physical well-being, in addition to lasting emotional fulfillment and personal growth.

Gallagher is a certified yoga and meditation instructor as well. She is passionate about positive living and helping others to be the best possible version of themselves both in the corporate sector and in her work with private clients.

Everyone is welcome; admission is free.
