Atty. Slepian elected president of the CT Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys

David Craig Slepian, Esq. of the law firm of Garson & Slepian, located in Fairfield has been elected president of The Connecticut Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (CTNAELA).  He is a graduate of Brown University and Boston University School of Law, and has been practicing law for more than 30 years concentrating in the fields of Estate Planning and Elder Law.

CTNAELA is the Connecticut chapter of the preeminent elder law attorneys’ national organization, NAELA, focusing on education and advocacy concerning issues facing the elderly and the disabled.   CTNAELA conducts seminars, publishes a professional journal for elder law attorneys, and is actively engaged in promoting the interests of the elderly through its lobbying efforts at the State Capitol.

Attorney Slepian will be representing the Connecticut Chapter of NAELA at the national organization’s annual meeting in Denver this Spring.

Attorney Slepian currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Estates and Probate section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and has served the Town of Fairfield on numerous boards including the Fairfield Public Library Board, Fairfield Library Building Committee, and Charter Review Commission.    He has authored articles and given lectures on Elder Law, and Estate and Tax Planning to attorneys, accountants and other professionals as well as the public. Attorney Slepian and his firm serve clients throughout Fairfield and New Haven County.
