Eagle Scout Project seeks support

Daniel Knorr, a Boy Scout from Troop 88 in Fairfield, is currently working on his Eagle Scout project. He is collaborating with the Norma F. Pfriem Urban Outreach Initiative. The group is based out of the United Congregational Church in Bridgeport. The organization does tremendous work through its food pantry, clothing closet, English as a second language classes, and cancer support groups.

Knorr has volunteered at the initiative in the past and was truly impressed with the impact the group has had on the community. It was for this reason that he chose to get involved with them and organize his project with them.

His plan involves building large-scale movable shelves for the group so that they can meet their many functions in a limited space. A flexible environment is critical for an organization that serves so many people and meets such a wide range of needs, and with the public’s help, Knorr can provide a much needed service to this fantastic organization.

Any and all support would be greatly appreciated and he hopes you will join with him in making this project a success.
