Library offers help to prepare for advanced placement (AP) exams

Adam Ratner of C2 Education will talk about the best ways to prepare for the upcoming Advanced Placement exams Thursday, March 24, from 7-8:30 p.m., at the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road. He will also discuss the importance of the PSAT/NMSQT when choosing AP exams and explore the myths and realities of these tests. 

This program is designed for high school students and their parents.  Registration is requested.

Presenter Adam Ratner is the School Relations Manager at C2 Education.  He has extensive knowledge and years of experience in supplemental tutoring.  He has worked closely with Connecticut districts, libraries and other community organizations educating families, counselors and administrators on the current changes to the SAT and ACT. He advises students on how to be most qualified for the higher education programs of their choice.  A graduate of Syracuse University with a degree in Music and Business, he received his K-12 New York State teaching certification through CUNY Brooklyn College.

Another Getting Ready for College Program offered this spring is “Why Choose a Community College?” on Tuesday, March 29.
